It will be called the height of privacy, when you can veil things from public by showcasing it to them. Finally the invisible cloak is “seen”. This cloak is made with the help of metamaterial. It comprises of ultra small or nano particlese that can make the electromagnetic waves bend around the object wrapped in the cloak. It’s like water carefully avoiding a rock in its path. This works only at 2 D level. All the Harry Potter fans would be proud of having a novel technology being implemented from their favorite novel. The extension of this idea can be made to implement a real cloak that can bend visible light in the near future. But the science lovers would be a little disappointed with the current pragmatic limitations, in it.
Invisible cloak is now "visible"

SMART tables
Well, the concept of surface computing has just beginning of several byproducts such as this SMART tables. Introduced at an elementary school in Chicago, the multitouch table features infrared cameras, XGA projectors and other hardware similar to that in Microsoft Surface. Still, this one is not as responsive as the Surface with kid proof plastic screen. As much as 6 kids can play comfortably with the table which can recognize upto 40 touches. Seems the kids of the future are far more luckier than what we have expected.

Quasi 3D state crystal keeps Moore's law alive
Everytime we expect the Moore's law to break apart, there comes a breakthrough in the transistor technology and the law remains. In the same fashion, when the gates are closing in on the law, we have a quasi-3D electron crystal discovered which can increase the number of transistors used in a chip to multiply significantly. The new discovery by a group of physists at the McGill University(Montreal) indicate a new state of matter. This was reportedly found in a semiconductor material at a temperature of about 100 times colder than the intergalactic space. This state is found to be in between the 2D and the 3D state and is expected to lift the physical restrictions on the size of a transistor.Time and again, science is able to save itself.
